Payoneer is seeking a Corporate Development, M&A Manager to strengthen its expanding M&A department. This pivotal role will entail spearheading a range of M&A initiatives, with a primary focus on conducting in-depth quantitative analysis and financial modelling to inform decision-making processes and optimize outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong proficiency in financial modelling and demonstrate a keen ability map out ecosystems to source new deals.

What You’ll Do:

  • Identify M&A transaction opportunities through analyses from industry research, market sizing, and ecosystem mapping
  • Build key relationships with the industry, including senior investment bankers and other companies in the industry
  • Lead deal sourcing (including target outreach, attending conferences, managing bankers), modelling, commercial & business diligence and execution
  • Collaborate with internal Payoneer teams across Product, Strategy, Go-To-Market, and Operations to align and discuss potential M&A opportunities and develop buy/build/partner analyses

 What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Technology or related discipline preferred
  • Strong deal process management, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Experience in performing quantitative and analytical financial modelling and detailed market analyses in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, and/or corporate development
  • Strong communication skills, including development of clear memos and presentations to senior management at the Company

Not a must but a great advantage:  

  • Experience within the payments industry and its current evolution across the world

In accordance with New York City Law, below is the annual base salary range for this position. Actual annual base salary is based on, but not limited to: experience, education, professional licenses, location and business needs. The position is eligible for health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, 401k plan, paid-time off, and sick (and where applicable safe) leave. This position is also eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.

The annual base salary range for this position is: $160,000-$190,000
