The Challenge

• Take charge of implementing best practices in vulnerability management to ensure a secure and robust IT environment. 
• Lead efforts to fortify the security posture of our cloud deployments. Implement security controls and features that effectively address cybersecurity challenges and safeguard our digital assets. 
• Implement and enhance monitoring best practices to proactively identify and troubleshoot production problems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable solutions, ensuring that infrastructure design aligns with industry best practices and accommodates future growth. 
• Drive continuous optimization initiatives for cloud resources, identifying opportunities to enhance performance, reduce costs, and improve overall operational efficiency. 
• Conduct thorough capacity planning and forecasting for Microsoft 365 and Cloud resources, ensuring that the infrastructure can seamlessly accommodate current and future business requirements. 
• Actively participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives, conducting training sessions and workshops to enhance the skill set of team members and promote a culture of continuous learning. 
• Contribute to the development and enforcement of a robust cloud governance framework, aligning with organizational policies and industry standards to ensure compliance and security. 

 You Are 

• Proven critical thinker with advanced analytical and decision-making skills. 
• Customer service-minded with a strong ability to plan, schedule, and monitor work activities to meet time and quality targets. 
• Highly organized and meticulous with excellent process management skills; project and goal oriented. 
• Equipped with good verbal and written interpersonal skills; with the ability to clearly and effectively articulate ideas and the direction of projects. 
• Able to manage and drive multiple simultaneous tasks and projects effectively, quickly adapting to new situations and aligning to business goals. 

Your Experience Includes 

• 7 years of experience in virtual or cloud administration.
• Must have at least one Associate, Special, or Export Microsoft Infrastructure Certification as found on Collections | Microsoft Learn 
• Proficiency in Azure. 
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and distributed networks in the cloud. 
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in cloud environments. 
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 

Extra Awesome 

• Hands-on experience with cloud-native application development and deployment. 
• Experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and other Infrastructure as Code tools. 
• Proficiency with AWS and GCP. 

For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington-based candidates: the annual base pay range for this role is listed below. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits.

Salary Range$109,500—$164,250 USDBenefits
