About the role

StepStone is seeking highly motivated marketing interns to support all areas and functions of the marketing team. They will assist with coordination of branding materials, event & logistic support, communication & calendar updates, administrative marketing support on culture & charitable program, and maintaining databases and dashboards. To excel in this role, the candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment and support numerous concurrent projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Working with the content team to create, format, and review marketing materials, ensuring they are consistent with brand guidelines
  • Support conferences and event program coordination, including but not limited to location/vendor research, logistics management, attendee coordination, inventory management and distribution, invitation and website creation, post-event report creation and payment coordination.
  • Maintain and update a database of firm-wide global speaking engagements; liaise with internal speakers and external event organisers; proactively identify relevant events and platforms to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
  • Help with coordination and communication on culture, community and charitable program.
  • Assist in maintaining and supporting marketing platforms (Seismic, Salesforce, SharePoint).
  • Support digital marketing, graphic design, email campaigns, social media.
  • Setup and coordinate meetings and conference calls.
  • Assist in sales enablement and fundraising process.

What we’re looking for

  • Available to work part time in person in our London office starting in August 2025 through June 2026, with potential to extend to into our Summer intern programme.
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • Highly motivated individual with demonstrated initiative, independence, and adaptability.
  • Promote and demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude but also the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Intermediate skills in PowerPoint
  • Manages time effectively, follows up on relevant issues.
  • A good eye for photography, visual storytelling, and design aesthetics
  • Acute attention to detail and critical thinking mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to interpret data, measure campaign performance, and derive actionable insights.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel essential, Teams a plus).
  • Willing to learn and grow.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
