Position Overview: 

StepStone is seeking highly motivated marketing interns to support all areas and functions of the marketing team. They will assist with marketing analytics, creation of materials, event support, calendar updates, coordination of branded materials, administrative marketing support, and creating dashboards. To excel in this role, the candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment and support numerous concurrent projects.

Internship Dates:

Interns must be about to work roughly 20 hours a week start in January 2025. The Intern will transition to full time in June 2025 and work through the end of the summer. 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Handle firm branded materials with content preparation, update PowerPoint decks,  rebranding conversion, idea generation and format correction.
  • Maintain marketing analytical dashboards and conduct internal data analysis.
  • Support conferences and event program coordination, including location/vendor research, logistics management, attendee coordination, inventory management and distribution, and payment coordination.
  • Aid in monthly/quarterly update process for Website and employee profile.
  • Assist in maintaining and supporting marketing platforms (Seismic, Salesforce, SharePoint).
  • Support digital marketing, graphic design, email campaigns, social media.
  • Setup and coordinate meetings and conference calls.

Qualifications/Other Desired Skills/Attributes:

  • Position starts from mid-Dec/early Jan, last around 8 months. Part time in spring (at least 2.5 days a week) and full time in summer(5 days a week).
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Must be able to work in person in our New York office.
  • Highly motivated individual with demonstrated initiative, independence, and adaptability.
  • Promote and demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude but also the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Manages time effectively, follows up on relevant issues.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of marketing data analysis and critical thinking skill.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel essential, Teams a plus).
  • Willing to learn and grow.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.

Salary Range: $25 per hour

The salary range is an estimate of pay for this position.  Actual pay may vary depending on job-related factors that can include location, education, skill, and experience.  The salary range does not include any benefits or other forms of possible compensation that may be available to employees.
