Within Lyft, the Lyft Urban Solutions (LUS) team delivers micromobility solutions. The Account Executive will be a part of the LUS Enterprise Sales Team that plays a critical role in all stages of the sales process, from shaping RFPs during pre-tender to driving existing customer growth. They will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities while nurturing and expanding existing relationships to drive our growth and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve annual sales targets by effectively implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Proactively identify prospects, schedule appointments and conduct effective qualifying sales calls in collaboration with the External Affairs team to shape RFIs and RFPs during the pre-tender phase.
  • Partner with the Bid Manager to develop compelling and competitive proposals for public tenders, contributing to all stages of the process to secure winning bids.
  • Lead negotiations with clients on contract terms, ensuring favorable pricing and conditions while carefully assessing and mitigating potential contractual risks to protect company interests and margins.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all public procurement activities within the CRM system, including leads, opportunities, proposals, and contract awards, to facilitate reporting and analysis.
  • Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge and conduct product demonstrations, effectively handling questions and objections, and efficiently escalating to drive business-minded resolutions.
  • Prepare and deliver concise and accurate reports, proposals and presentations for executive-level review and approval.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer escalations, effectively resolving issues and maintaining strong customer relationships throughout the lifecycle of the delivery.
  • Identify and pursue upselling and system expansion opportunities within the existing customer base to drive revenue growth.
Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of sales experience in a related industry, preferably with experience in B2G sales and public procurements. Micromobility experience, a plus.
  • Proficiency with sales management software and CRM systems. 
  • Knowledge of commercial terms and conditions in public tender. 
  • Strong ability to pitch, craft narratives, and develop interpersonal relationships.
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Ability to travel 15-20% of the time.
  • Excellent oral and written communication in French and English (for interacting with English-speaking colleagues and clients outside of Quebec).

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid

The expected base pay range for this position in the Montreal area is CAD $88,000 - CAD $110,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
