Ripple is seeking a collaborative and highly adaptable individual to support our fast-paced, growing accounting team during Summer 2026. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual that enjoys learning, improving, and building processes in a dynamic, innovative environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As an Accounting Intern, you will primarily support improvements in technical accounting, financial reporting organization, and audit readiness, with the remaining time dedicated to “Mergers and Acquisitions” (M&A) integration and corporate development projects. This hands-on internship offers exposure to key areas of corporate finance, allowing you to apply classroom knowledge and enhance your expertise. We encourage the efficient use of our available AI and automation tools (e.g., Google Gemini, Zoom AI), provided company policy on responsible and safe use is strictly followed. Responsibilities include:
Technical Accounting and Knowledge Management- Conduct targeted research on complex and emerging technical accounting topics (US GAAP), including summarizing public company trends (e.g., digital assets) to inform policy development.
- Build and maintain the team's knowledge base by creating and updating policy documentation on Confluence pages.
- Organize and maintain the team's information library, share drives, and document repositories using trackers and inventory lists to improve data accessibility and scalability.
- Organize and prepare foundational documents (lists, procedures, policies) in advance of the 2026 financial audit and regulatory examinations.
- Proactively streamline the "Prepared By Client" (PBC) process by reviewing past audit requests and creating improvement plans and tools to enhance the auditor's future approach.
- Help organize and bridge existing internal control documentation to prepare for the annual control update exercise.
- Support the accounting integration and reporting aspects of M&A projects, collaborating with cross-functional Finance teams.
- Assist in formalizing the M&A accounting integration project management plan, including drafting a repeatable work breakdown structure.
- Participate in project meetings, prepare milestone updates for leaders, and document process improvements (postmortems).
- Assist with ad-hoc analyses and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Currently enrolled in an Undergraduatedegree preferably in a Major in Business, Finance, Accounting or Data Analytics or related field.
- Available to work for 12 weeks during Summer 2026, beginning in May or June.
- Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship
- Basic understanding of US GAAP
- Working knowledge in Excel, Word, PPT, and Google Workspace applications
- Experience in AI-assisted productivity tools for workflow optimization and data summarization is preferred
- Ability to stay organized and meet hard deadlines
- Collaborative approach to working on projects
- Detail oriented with strong analytical skills and self-driven initiative
- Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic with a can-do attitude, eagerness to learn, and a continuous improvement mindset

Actual rates may vary based on numerous factors including, among other things, an individual applicant’s experience and qualifications for the position. This range does not include equity or additional compensation, such as bonuses or commissions.
