Joining Collibra’s Accounts Receivable team

We’re looking for a highly motivated Accounts Receivable Manager to join our growing finance and accounting team in Raleigh. The ideal candidate is dynamic and results-driven with a proactive mindset and a passion for operational excellence. Brings a hands-on, strategic approach to managing the full AR lifecycle and drives process improvement opportunities. Collaborating closely with cross-functional business partners with a customer centric approach, aligning operations to ensure our customers are our true north.

This is a hybrid role based in our Raleigh office. Our hybrid model means you’ll work from the office at least two days each week. This setup helps us stay connected, work more closely together, and keep making progress as a team.

The Accounts Receivable Manager at Collibra is responsible for
  • Lead and oversee the global accounts receivable function, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing and collections across all regions.
  • Manage the entire accounts receivable lifecycle: sales order, invoice generation, customer communication, payment tracking, collections, and reconciliations.
  • Monitor aging reports, proactively manage overdue balances, and implement effective collection strategies.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Legal and Tax) to resolve disputes or billing discrepancies.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including reporting and audit preparation.
  • Manage and improve AR processes and controls, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.
  • Supervise and mentor the AR team.
You have
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent related working experience is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role.
  • Strong understanding of international invoicing and collection practices, tax compliance (e.g., VAT), and currency handling.
  • Proficiency in a major ERP system (Netsuite).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working across cultures and time zones.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Measures of success
  • Within your first month, you will gain a fundamental understanding of the quote-to-cash functions, and you will become acclimated with the ERP system, the CRM system and process related requests.
  • Within your third month, you will be managing the entire accounts receivable lifecycle together with the team.
  • Within your sixth month, you will identify opportunities for automation and efficiency and initiate process improvements.
Compensation for this role

The standard base salary range for this position is $96,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.
