About Us:

Hive Perform is revolutionising how sales teams win deals. We're the AI-native platform bridging the gap between revenue intelligence and sales training for scaling businesses – trusted by over 10,000 employees at leading companies.

We don't just show you what happened; we show you what to do next. Our science-based analysis framework gives complete deal visibility, tracks strategy execution, and guides reps on exact next steps to close more deals.

As a business backed by Blenheim Chalcot, a world-leading venture builder, you'll join a network of organisations at the cutting edge of AI and innovation.

If you're passionate about applying AI to solve real revenue challenges and want to make a meaningful impact at a growing startup, we'd love to hear from you. We're seeking a talented AI Engineer to join our mission of transforming how businesses win deals.

The Role:

Join our engineering team as we build intelligent systems that power deal-winning strategies for ambitious companies.

You'll be working on challenging problems in sales intelligence: predicting deal outcomes, automatically surfacing actions that move deals forward, and turning sales data into strategic insights that drive revenue.

In our fast-paced environment, you'll take ownership of meaningful AI projects from day one, work closely with our founding team, and see your code impact real businesses within weeks.

What You'll Be Building:

AI Sales Intelligence:

  • Develop AI agents that predict deal outcomes and identify revenue risks before they become problems
  • Build intelligent coaching systems that automatically surface personalised next-best-actions for sales reps
  • Build intelligent automation that helps sales teams execute their playbooks with unprecedented consistency
  • Create advanced analytics engines that transform sales conversations into strategic insights

Production-Scale AI Infrastructure:

  • Architect ML pipelines that process millions of sales interactions in real-time
  • Build robust data quality frameworks ensuring our AI insights are always accurate and actionable
  • Implement RAG systems and vector search capabilities for intelligent content discovery and recommendation

Scalable ML Operations:

  • Deploy models using modern cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) that scale with our rapidly growing customer base
  • Build comprehensive evaluation pipelines ensuring our AI performs reliably in high-stakes sales environments
  • Create monitoring and alerting systems that keep our AI running smoothly 24/7
The Impact You'll Make:
  • Week 1-4: Ship your first AI feature that helps sales reps close more deals
  • Month 3: Utilise LLMs for processing of real sales data for major enterprise clients
  • Month 6: Lead the development of a major AI capability that transforms how our customers win business
  • Year 1: Become a key technical contributor shaping the future of sales AI
What Makes You Perfect for This Role:

Technical Excellence:

  • Recent MSc/MEng in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related field with strong academic performance
  • Hands-on experience with Python
  • Experience with LLMs and their APIs
  • Experience building end-to-end ML systems from data processing to production deployment

Additional:

  • Hands-on experience with PyTorch, transformers, and modern ML frameworks
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Docker, Kubernetes, and MLOps practices

Real-World AI Experience:

  • Previous internship or project experience applying GenAI, LLMs, and prompt engineering to solve business problems
  • Experience with RAG systems, vector databases, and intelligent search capabilities
  • Understanding of production ML challenges: data quality, model monitoring, and scalable deployment

Sales & Business Acumen:

  • Genuine interest in understanding sales processes and revenue optimisation (we'll teach you the rest!)
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions
  • Experience conducting user research or working directly with end-users of AI systems

Startup DNA:

  • Thrive in fast-paced environments where you can ship code that immediately impacts real businesses
  • Self-motivated and able to take ownership of complex technical challenges
  • Growth mindset with eagerness to learn about sales, business strategy, and emerging AI technologies
  • Collaborative team player who can work effectively with product, design, and go-to-market teams
Why You'll Love Working Here:

Strong Growth Opportunity:

  • Work closely with our founding team and contribute to the technical direction of a scaling startup
  • Take ownership of AI initiatives that directly impact our core product and customer success
  • Accelerate your career in the growing field of revenue intelligence

Modern Technology:

  • Work with the latest advances in GenAI, LLMs, and production ML systems
  • Access to quality infrastructure and comprehensive learning resources
  • Mentorship from experienced engineers and exposure to enterprise-scale challenges

Direct Impact:

  • Your work directly helps sales teams improve their performance and grow their businesses
  • See the immediate impact of your contributions on real customers and their outcomes
  • Contribute to building a leading platform for sales AI

Amazing Benefits & Culture:

  • Competitive salary
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays and your birthday off
  • Life assurance (3x annual salary) and pension scheme
  • Up to £900 flexible benefits: medical insurance, dental, gym membership, and more
  • Be part of the Blenheim Chalcot family – connect with incredible people across 30+ startups
  • Regular social events and networking opportunities at Scale Space
Our Values:
  • Experts, but not always right - We bring deep expertise while staying humble and open to new approaches
  • Substance before "sizzle" - We build robust, impactful AI that solves real problems, not just impressive demos
  • Caring and courageous - We support each other's growth and tackle the hardest technical challenges in sales AI
  • Evergreen entrepreneurs - We think like owners and continuously innovate to stay ahead
  • We care deeply about giving feedback in the right way. We champion the idea of test and learn, and we’re not afraid of failure. We’re always looking for ways to improve, and respect everyone’s ideas. And we really take the time to invest in our working relationships, and overall, practise what we preach.
This Role Might Not Be For You If...
  • You prefer slow-moving, bureaucratic environments (we ship fast and iterate quickly)
  • You want to work on AI for AI's sake rather than solving real business problems
  • You're not excited about learning the sales domain and working closely with go-to-market teams
  • You're uncomfortable with the ambiguity and rapid change that comes with cutting-edge AI development
