Seeking an application support and maintenance specialist to join our global AMS support team. This role will have a heavy focus on the integrations area of the business dealing in particular with our Boomi application. The person in this role will report to the AMS Manager with an internal stakeholder relationship with the Boomi ownership team. The AMS team is responsible for supporting end users for our core business applications while working with development teams on break fixes/bugs, configuration changes, and system/job monitoring. The Boomi team is responsible for the design, development and expansion of Boomi/Boomi EDI and the business functionality involved.

SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE...

The core objectives of this position are:

• Advocate for the end user by providing a delightful and efficient user experience through professional, proactive communication, regular updates, and timely resolution of issues.
• A troubleshoot and analyze reported issues to resolution or escalation with root cause analysis. 
• Proactively highlight and address trending issues or suggest necessary enhancements or configuration changes.
• Adequately test small configuration solutions to ensure end user adoption and smooth release transition.
• Develop and articulate solution options that incorporate user experience, scalability, security and best practices.
• Monitor Boomi environment to identify and address any issues or exceptions in the application data flows.
• Investigate and troubleshoot production incidents related to integration processes, EDI flows, APIs.   Triage data discrepancies between applications due to Boomi process exceptions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, trading partners, and Boomi support teams to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as applying patches, upgrades, and configuration changes to the Boomi environment.

Additional objectives of this position are:

• Contribute to knowledge base articles to facilitate efficient issue resolution.
• Investigate and diagnose technical issues reported by users related to Boomi integration processes.
• Analyze and optimize processes and workflows to improve performance, efficiency, and reliability.
• Cross train on Boomi EDI functional knowledge to provide additional support to all members of the integrations team.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to author and present materials ranging from detailed technical specifications to high-level presentations.
• A drive to take ownership of reported issues and see them through to resolution.
• Experience with a global support structure stretching over multiple time zones and cultural differences. 
• Possess a love for problem solving using excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with an ability to learn quickly.
• 3+ years experience in supporting and maintaining cloud integrations technology and services required, experience with the Boomi platform preferred.
• Experience in parsing and transforming various data formats (JSON, XML, parquet, avro) highly desired.
• Experience with data streaming/real-time integrations using AWS and cloud application streaming solutions as well as SaaS applications like Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, Snowflake etc highly desired.
• Technical knowledge of cloud architectures including SaaS, PaaS and IaaS desired.
• Proficiency in using Boomi platform for EDI support and maintenance tasks, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and configuration are highly preferred.
• Experience in maintaining AWS components like SNS, SQS, lambda functions to support the end to end Boomi flows across multiple applications.
• Understanding of databases like Snowflake and SQL query language is desired.
• Boomi certification(s) are preferred.

You will be based in Prague. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.
