Join us! The GoFundMe team is searching for an Analyst II on the Strategy & Operations (S&O) team within Trust & Safety. S&O plays a critical role across the business to deliver the insights, clarity, alignment, and operational rigor that enable teams to scale with impact.

As an S&O Analyst II, you will lead complex analytics initiatives that inform operational strategy, risk mitigation, and long-term planning. You will partner closely with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to shape KPI frameworks, guide resource allocation, and proactively identify opportunities to strengthen platform safety and user trust.

The Job

  • Own and evolve KPI frameworks that measure Trust & Safety performance, risk exposure, and operational health.
  • Lead forecasting, capacity modeling, and scenario planning to inform hiring, investment, and prioritization decisions.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses into risk trends, enforcement quality, operational efficiency, and emerging platform challenges.
  • Build scalable dashboards and self-serve reporting tools to increase visibility and enable faster decision-making.
  • Identify structural inefficiencies and propose data-backed recommendations for process improvements.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Policy, and Operations leaders to inform roadmap decisions through analytics.
  • Design measurement frameworks to evaluate the impact of policy updates, tooling enhancements, and operational experiments.
  • Support quarterly and annual planning cycles with business cases, performance modeling, and strategic insights.
  • Contribute to elevating analytics maturity within Trust & Safety, including mentoring junior analysts where appropriate.

You 

  • 2–5 years of experience in Strategy, Business Operations, Business Intelligence, or Data Analytics.
  • Strong SQL proficiency and advanced Excel modeling skills.
  • Experience building forecasting models, scenario analyses, and KPI frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently scope and lead analytical projects end-to-end.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to connect operational metrics to broader business strategy.
  • Detail-oriented with strong business judgment.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, high-impact environments.
  • Experience in Trust & Safety, fraud prevention, compliance, or platform risk environments.
  • Familiarity with experimentation design and enforcement quality measurement.
  • Experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering teams, preferably within  ecommerce, fintech, marketplace, or social media companies.
