What will you be doing?

Our Product and Engineering Operations team is the secret sauce that keeps our business sizzling. We're all about cranking up the speed and quality of our product, and we need an Associate Data Analyst extraordinaire, with a flair for fun and a love for all things data to help us do it.

This role is as diverse as your data skill set! As our Associate Data Analyst, you'll be the go-to guru for the wider Product and Engineering group. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate & Define: Work hand-in-hand with Product and Engineering to pinpoint the essential data needed to measure our impact.
  • Translate & Analyse: Become the master translator, turning what our teams are working on into specific analyses, metrics, or reports that provide actionable insights.
  • Visualize & Act: Investigate the data visualization needs of different teams, transform those insights into action plans, and present them to stakeholders like a pro.
  • Dashboard Dynamo: Be the expert in building and maintaining dashboards and reports, enabling stakeholders to access data and monitor key metrics effortlessly.
  • Report & Present: Create and present detailed reports and ad-hoc analyses to management, making data-driven decisions a breeze.
  • Drive Data Integrity: Champion data integrity and hygiene best practices, guiding teams in adopting and maintaining these practices with ease.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Data & Insights Integration: You've embedded data and insights processes and visualizations, speeding up our time-to-market and enhancing cross-functional collaboration.
  • Organizational Self-Organization: You've helped the organization build the muscle to self-organize around a set of defined, measurable outcomes that you've effectively communicated.
  • Seamless Launches: You've ensured quality assurance and executed seamless launches that set new industry standards.

 

Are you the right match?

  • Degree educated or equivalent experience 
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to translate complex analysis findings into a clear narrative and actionable insights
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, with a focus on quality – will be responsible for delivery of final documents and presentations to senior management 
  • Strong presentation and communication skills  
  • Leadership and influencing style that is inclusive, clear, calm and persuasive at all levels in an internationally diverse company

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience in software industry 
  • Business acumen, including financial literacy, business models, planning, change and project management skills, goal-setting and organizational design 
  • Expertise with Agile and Scrum development practices  
  • Experience in fast moving start ups / scale ups
  • Familiarity with Quicksight, Jira, Confluence, Gitlab and other tools
  • Technical aptitude to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies
