Associate Director FP&A (m/f/x)
As a member of our Global Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) department you’ll join a data and process oriented team, responsible for accurate and timely management reporting and global coordination of our financial budgets. As part of your responsibilities as a financial planner you will develop scalable budgeting solutions, assure financial data consistency across geographies and provide in-depth financial analysis to management. Your work will have an immediate impact on the visibility and transparency of key financial metrics, and therefore contribute to more informed decision making coming from our global stakeholders.
What you’ll do- As Associate Director Global FP&A, you are responsible for the reporting and analysis of key financial information with a special emphasis on system management of Adaptive Planning
- You make improvements to our Adaptive Planning platform, drive further automations and continue to harmonize financial modeling across the organization
- You collaborate with many different stakeholders across the globe from Finance, Operations, Marketing, Tech and Data in exciting projects
- You further drive global cost controlling initiatives by increasing visibility on cost items using customized Adaptive and Excel reports & dashboards
- You document processes/best practices and contribute to the training of our local counterparts.
- You have a degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent and you have at least six years of experience working in FP&A, controlling, finance or consulting.
- You are experienced with accounting and financial concepts and are fully comfortable with the main reporting structures (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow), experience working with Adaptive Planning or similar financial planning systems preferred.
- You have strong analytical skills, ability to translate and present quantitative results into digestible insights, in both written and verbal form. Comfortable in Excel and SQL.
- You can liaise with stakeholders to structure project roadmaps, work on implementation and assure results are met by deadlines.
- You have a proven “can-do” attitude; i.e. you exude a high energy level and are solution-oriented, without cutting corners.
- You are passionate about optimizing processes and bringing order and transparency in reporting and budgeting.
- You feel comfortable collaborating with various departments and communicating with high-level management.
