We’re hiring a Marketing Analytics Associate Director to support our Growth Marketing team and own the analytical roadmap, reporting tools, and marketing optimization through in-depth analytical insights and experimentation. As the Marketing Analytics Associate Director, you will lead a best in class team of analytics experts and be a champion of a data-centric approach to our marketing operations. You will be working collaboratively with business intelligence, data science, product, and growth marketing teams to provide effective and valuable data solutions.

To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate a desire to constantly improve on existing techniques and processes and have a passion for driving results through analytical insights and storytelling. You will need to be effective in inspiring and developing analytical team members and working with all levels of stakeholders to drive action from learnings.

You will have the opportunity to dive into varied and interesting analytical challenges; including solving the challenges of marketing optimization, ROI, user behavior pre- and post-purchase, as well as marketing channel effectiveness. You will steer the business questions at the heart of growth marketing strategy and tactics.

You will…

  • Provide leadership and professional development to a team of analysts focused on driving marketing performance through advanced analysis and strategic insights.
  • Analyze complex business problems using large datasets from internal and external sources to identify gaps and opportunities for KPI improvement (acquisition, CACs, brand awareness, LTV, etc.)
  • Develop and manage the analytics roadmap for the growth marketing organization, ensuring timely completion of analytically rigorous projects.
  • Work closely with senior management to understand business problems, identify opportunities for analysis, present clear action plans, and influence stakeholders to help drive forward key initiatives.
  • Drive forward innovative analysis approaches in order to solve some of the most challenging marketing data problems in the business.
  • Play a key role in driving the insights generated by the analytics team to tangible action and projects adopted by the rest of the marketing team.
  • Be the leading voice for the analytics department, supporting the broader US marketing team in understanding new metrics and teaching foundational analysis skills.
  • Actively support the marketing annual strategic planning process, from analysis to storytelling.

You have…

  • MSc / Bachelors in STEM, eg Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics
  • At least 7 years' experience deriving insights from data and influencing business strategy decisions
  • At least 3 years' experience leading a technical team
  • Expert level Python, SQL and a data visualization tool; experience in Databricks and Tableau are a plus
  • A strong grasp of statistical concepts (e.g. regression, hypothesis testing, sample size determination etc)
  • Practical experience building data visualizations that have intuitive UI and follow best practices
  • Strong organizational skills, a sense of ownership and accountability, and the ability to lead projects with a team
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences, from technical teams to executives
