As an Associate Financial Controller, you will grow alongside other team members, having a chance to demonstrate your interest, attitude and proactivity. You will also be involved in activities like financial background checks and you will be asked to support the team during external audits.

You will be exposed to an international framework, supporting our European offices and working in a dynamic environment. 

Associate Financial Controllers at AKQA work in partnership with different roles within the Administration and Management Control team, providing support to a wide range of operational tasks. 

Located in our office at H-Farm Campus, in Roncade (near Venice, Italy), you will join a disciplined cross-functional team and environment which fosters a meritocratic culture and encourages ownership.

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Assist with new clients and vendors checks, review and setup.
  • Support the elaboration of monthly reports for the Client Controller.
  • Ensure compliance review and documentation.
  • Help with specific month-end and quarterly analysis.
  • Assist with audit queries and other ad hoc requests from the Client Controller.
  • Assist Client Services team with project reporting.
  • Reconcile Accounts Receivable and Unbilled Revenue.
  • Responsible for posting accounts receivable cash receipts and ledger entries.
  • Raise sale invoices with accuracy and within the defined time frame.
  • Ensure costs are billable within the terms of a client contract.
  • Deliver reports in a timely and professional manner.

All activities will be compliant with our International group standards.

 

 QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS

  • Accuracy, integrity and the ability to work within specific deadlines are your keys to succeed in this role.
  • Good understanding of accounting.
  • Good knowledge of Excel.
  • You are willing to learn new tools (like Maconomy, Workbook, documentation workflow).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian.
  • Driven by enthusiasm and willingness to work in a challenging and dynamic environment, you demonstrate proactiveness and accountability in every task you are assigned.
  • Positive, collaborative spirit and a hands-on attitude.
  • Proven planning and organisation skills: able to prioritise workload.
