Who We Are

This position will be based in our Shanghai office. All Shanghai based employees work in the office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office at least 4 days per week and have the option to work remotely 1 day per week.

Wayfair’s Global Financial Operations team is seeking an Associate to join our Supplier Financial Operations team.The Supplier team is responsible for ticket management, billing, and cash collection for all Wayfair business lines, as well as direct customer service for our suppliers participating in these programs.

What You'llKey Responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Act as the APAC regional escalation/business support team member as part of the Global Financial Operations function
  • Operate as a SPOC for all Asia based teams 
    • Become fluent in the inner workings of our supplier services businesses, including their financial data flows
    • Ensure our suppliers and international supply chain customers are paying Wayfair accurately and on time
    • Deal with escalations or local language enquiries 
    • Assisting with ongoing monitoring and reporting on outstanding accounts
  • Present Metrics/KPIs and performance with local stakeholders 
  • Challenge existing workflows and identify opportunities to optimize and improve efficiency as we continue to scale
  • Seek opportunities to align & standardize processes globally where appropriate
  • Ensure all processes are documented and assist in the development of the function

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or other related subjects
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain and/or freight forwarding, logistics / e-commerce industry preferred
  • Intermediate Excel skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Suite and adeptness in working with data
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to handle inquiries from all levels of stakeholders under multi-culture environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Flexible and able to handle ad hoc issues that may arise, including quick prioritization decisions
  • Overseas education background and working experience with international enterprises is a plus
  • Fluent English both written and verbal
