The Global Mobility & Immigration (GM&I) team at Wayfair partners with internal and external stakeholders to create a best in class mobility experience for our international population. As an Associate you will collaborate with your team and the broader Talent team to ensure the needs of our employees and the business are met. To guarantee our GM&I processes are integrated and supported in the Wayfair service environment, you will work in close partnership with numerous internal stakeholders and multiple external vendors. Please note this is a Boston based opportunity with a 4 day in office expectation.

Oversight and direction from the team manager will be provided to develop your ability to collaborate with stakeholders within several teams including Talent, Finance and Legal.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with daily operations of the GM&I programs, including global transfers, assignments, and relocation. This entails responding to case inquiries and coordinating efforts for pertinent stakeholders.
  • Support global immigration extensions and amendments by reviewing forms, creating monthly reports, and reviewing petitions.
  • Coordinate efforts related to the US Green Card program.
  • Attend weekly operating calls with our immigration and relocation vendors to ensure we are up to date with any case delays.
  • Update internal intranet sites to ensure guidelines and information is relevant.
  • Work closely with vendors and other suppliers to ensure appropriate service levels are met in support of program goals.  
  • Support new implementations and projects.
  • Support new and existing technology platforms in the preparation of relocation packages.

What You’ll Need:

  • 2-3 years supporting mobility and immigration programs is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • A customer service mentality to support an international population across multiple communication channels.
  • Comfortable adapting to change in a fast-paced, dynamic and ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to use independent judgment, problem-solve, be creative and committed to results.
  • Able to maximize time in order to effectively manage a heavy caseload.
