Strategic Partnerships is a team of creative entrepreneurs that develop solutions for Agoda’s non-accommodation partners and promote Agoda’s top and bottom-line growth. We design tailored business and product solutions with our partners and help them generate measurable value. Members of our team are empowered and supported to grow their market(s) or accounts. We develop win-win relationships and leverage Agoda’s unique accommodations portfolio and tech solutions to bring our partners the advantages they seek. Utilizing our strong brand and resources, we build new channels to increase the visibility of Agoda, introduce more travelers to our great products and service and deliver significant revenues to the overall business. 

 

In this Role, you'll get to:  

  • Establish day to day communications with partner, connect with internal team, including but not limited to being a first level responder to partner, attending/driving communication with partners/internal teams via meetings/emails/real-time messages, translating and coordinating with stakeholders across all streams to identify and implement solutions/unblock growth opportunities 
  • Become the expert of current product and upcoming new product features/processes 
  • Deliver on KPIs and milestones based on growth targets and key strategic initiatives 
  • Convert strategic goals into execution plans and drive the execution with partners 
  • Identify knowledge that requires documentation and build knowledge base by creating and maintaining documentations 
  • Via deep understanding of responsible partnership, the partnership products, business analysis, proactively identify enhancement opportunities especially in the operational/commercial scope, drive the proposal/alignment/execution of the enhancements 
  • Prioritize milestones/projects based on what can bring optimal win-win outcome to the partnership while maintaining partner satisfaction 

 

What you'll Need to Succeed: 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in tech operation, consulting or relationship management role  
  • Strong interest in learning and improving operational process/systems with an end goal of optimizing business revenue and partnership sustainability 
  • Be able to communicate clearly and concisely with respect 
  • Strong communication, interpretation and presentation skills (English and Japanese) 
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment while staying organized, and is open to change in responsibilities, workflows, as needed by the business 
  • Team player with a professional “get it done” attitude and work ethic 
  • Strong data management, analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Able to work with a multi-cultural group of professionals  
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and extract/identify the essential problem/information 
  • Fast learner with desire to learn 
  • High level of attention to details 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point 
  • Project management background preferred 
  • Basic SQL skill preferred or willingness to learn on the job 
  • Experience of working with Japanese corporation preferred
