betFIRST Operations Specialist
The Operations Specialist role is ideal for those who excel in multifaceted positions. Reporting to the COO, this role involves managing costs, collaborating with internal teams, and analyzing third-party providers. Responsibilities encompass budget management, efficiency analysis, and involvement in contract negotiations, offering a dynamic and impactful opportunity for a versatile professional.
Responsibilities- Reporting to the COO in a wide-ranging role involving Operational and Commercial aspects of the business.
- Cost management, point of contact and analysis of several 3rd party providers related to the Operations and Commercial functions. This includes areas such as:
- Payment providers;
- Streaming/Data feed providers;
- Customer Service & BI tools;
- Compliance providers.
- Working closely with internal departments – Legal, CS, RG, BI, Compliance, Trading, Retail – ensuring optimal use of resources and efficiency within departments.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects to analyse efficiency and profitability of different aspects of the business, and give recommendations for action based on analysis.
- Responsibility for the management of the Live Streaming budget.
- Assistance with Contract negotiations, document reviews for new and existing commercial relationships.
- Other ad-hoc tasks related to the role to support the COO.
- Minimum 2 years experience within iGaming industry. Account management, Commercial or Operations role preferred.
- Experience in contract reviews and negotiations.
- Strong academic background, Bachelor degree level essential. Masters degree a plus.
- Candidate must have an excellent all-rounded knowledge of B2C iGaming operations.
- Candidate must have excellent communication skills for both internal and external interactions.
- Must have a good knowledge and an interest in a variety of Sports.
- Must be able to report and present all data in a clear and precise manner, notably using excel.
- Candidate must have strong numerical skills.
- Must be able to analyse data and then recommend actions based on findings.
- Candidate will be expected to show initiative and a certain degree of independence with his/her work.
