Brand Designer 

As a Brand Designer at Fastly, you'll collaborate with a dynamic team of versatile designers to craft compelling assets that deeply connect with customers across all touchpoints. Your role will involve a diverse range of projects, including the creation of campaign materials, video production, and event assets. This position presents an exciting opportunity to leverage your creativity to drive substantial business growth within a rapidly expanding organization. Working closely with various teams, you'll translate intricate ideas into impactful brand experiences. What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create high-quality, on-brand assets for digital ad campaigns, Fastly.com, internal & external event materials, and other initiatives
  • Implement visual strategies that enhance our brand presence across all of our marketing channels
  • Advocate for the brand’s visual identity, ensuring consistency and alignment across all touchpoints
  • Stay current with design best practices, emerging trends, and innovative techniques to continuously elevate the quality and effectiveness of our brand visuals
  • Actively participate in design critiques, offering constructive feedback to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining the highest standards of design quality

What We're Looking For: 

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional design experience, along with a strong understanding of design principles, typography, digital design, and layout composition, is required
  • A strong portfolio that showcases a diverse range of brand projects, highlighting your versatility and creativity
  • A baseline understanding of video editing, enabling you to work on video production projects effectively
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to embrace feedback as a means to enhance design outcomes
  • Proficiency in Figma, with the ability to navigate component libraries and utilize auto-layout seamlessly
  • Excellent communication skills, with the capability to present design concepts and ideas clearly and persuasively to stakeholders

We’ll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these: 

  • Experience in SaaS marketing  
  • Skilled in creating motion graphics  
  • Expertise in polishing slide presentations  

Work Hours: 

  • This position will require you to be available during core business hours. 

Work Location(s) & Travel Requirements:

This position is open to the following preferred office locations:

  • San Francisco, CA- this role will be hybrid working out of the SF office 2-3 days/week

Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home. The Marketing team works from the SF office two or more days per week, usually on Tue, Wed, or Thurs. 

This position may require occasional travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.

Salary: 

The estimated salary range for this position is $114,200 to $142,750.

Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.
