Role expectations and responsibilitiesJoin our dynamic People team as a chef, working closely with Chef Alex to make our London office an exceptional place to work. You will play a crucial role in providing delicious meals for our teams every day, including breakfast and lunch from Monday to Friday, with occasional catering for company events.
As an integral part of our company, our chefs are valued and treated as full-fledged colleagues.Our chefs enjoy a balanced work schedule, offering a rare opportunity for work-life harmony in the culinary industry.
We are seeking a chef who is passionate about food and stays current with food trends.
Responsibilities:- Take charge of the kitchen and oversee service operations when Chef Alex is away.
- Ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis.
- Adhere to and enforce all Health and Safety and Food Hygiene regulations.
- Contribute to achieving financial targets set by the Senior management team.
- Assist in ordering supplies to maintain optimal stock levels with quality and cost in mind.
- Secure stock and minimise waste.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen during and after each service.
- Collaborate with the Chef in menu creation.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
