About The Role:

The Commercial Installation Manager holds responsibility for leading the APAC installation, scheduling and third party services team, which encompasses the supervision of installation, maintenance, repair, scheduling, invoicing, maintaining and enhancing external installation partnerships and customer onboarding activities where device are required for installation or maintenance.

The Commercial Installation Manager is integral in collaborating with the Supply Chain team, inside Sales team to oversee and coordinate with third-party vendors providing installation and maintenance services. Service standards, quality, training, and contractual arrangements are (please insert)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the establishment, development, and management of a network of third party installers across the APAC region,
  • Lead and supervise major installation projects in APAC in collaboration with in-house installers and/or third-party vendors,
  • Review and maintain technical documentation necessary for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of units in the field, being the HQ point of contact to other regions in ensuring technical information for installation is up to date with products,
  • Develop training materials in collaboration with the Technical Operations team to enhance the quality assurance of in-vehicle products to be used by other regions,
  • Supervise and oversee training sessions for trainers and certified installation technicians (both customers and third-party) as required in APAC,
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team and Commercial Manager to evaluate and issue contracts for third-party vendors in APAC (for installation, maintenance, etc.).
  • Conduct quality control assessments across installation activities in APAC to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Provide insights and support during the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process in conjunction with the Technical Operations team.
  • Establish and maintain and grow a robust network of installers in APAC.
  • Where required, lead integral or large project installations deployments.

Professional Experience:

  • Possesses over 8 years of hands-on experience in field operations encompassing both hardware and software products.
  • Holds over 10 years of expertise in auto electrical work.
  • Demonstrates a practical comprehension of network technology.
  • Brings extensive experience and knowledge of heavy vehicle in-vehicle installation.
  • Proficient in utilizing the MS Office suite of products.
  • Shows a clear understanding of and readiness to adhere to relevant Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) requirements.
  • Has extensive experience in negotiating and managing commercial agreements and terms with positive outcomes,

Has excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
