As the Community Intern, you are the Habyt Ambassador. You are entrusted with nurturing connections and fostering collaborations within our diverse coliving communities. Throughout your internship, you will explore diverse areas of expertise including Community Events, Member Services, and Operations. It is the perfect opportunity to broaden your experience and understand the dynamics of the flexible housing industry. You will be responsible for:
- Assist in community events across all properties, fostering member connections and partnerships with local organisations.
- Conduct viewings and lead tours for the exclusive Tong Lau Experience at Habyt Bridges.
- Support in cultivating partnerships with local non-profit organisations and social ventures in Hong Kong to enhance community engagement across all locations.
- Welcome new members across all coliving properties and provide them with necessary information and resources, including the Habyt welcome pack and relevant apps.
- Coordinate the move-out process in collaboration with the Operations team, ensuring a seamless transition for departing members across all locations.
- Collaborate with a cross functional team including Operations, Revenue and Finance to address member requests effectively, ensuring seamless service delivery and member satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, promptly addressing and reporting security concerns affecting community members.
- Document past activities, events, and interactions within the community in a clear, concise, and organised manner.
- Engage in conducting thorough research to gather data and collaboratively participating in making informed decisions for community initiatives and projects.
The skills, attitude and experience we require are:
- Current students enrolled in Diploma or Degree programs, with a focus on social services, communications, events, and marketing.
- Passionate and dedicated individual in building community and fostering relationships, with effective communication skills across diverse personalities and cultures.
- Proactive problem solver with a strong inclination for hospitality and customer-centric mindset.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to complete tasks.
- Fluency in English and Cantonese, essential in servicing the target market. Fluency in Mandarin is a strong plus.
Commitment:
- A minimum of 4 months.
- A willingness to work rotating shifts – Shifts are of 5 days/week including weekends, PH, and both morning, afternoon, and night shifts when required.
