We created Apaleo to change the hospitality industry in a meaningful way. Our API-first property management platform empowers accommodation providers to design a technology stack that creates unique digital guest & staff experiences.

Now, we are looking for a Community Intern (f/m/d) to join our Community team for a minimum of 6 months!

The Apaleo Community is a portal fully dedicated to digital transformation in hospitality and hotel tech where hotels and other stakeholders get together to share experiences and tips on how to embrace and advance through their unique digital journey.

At Apaleo we value ownership, communication and trust, and we are looking for a well-organized and motivated candidate who can support our Community team by running daily operations, organising events, creating content, and designing engaging activities.

Your mission:

  • Support the organization of community events (both digital and in-person)
  • Be responsible for the daily operations of the portal
  • Create ad hoc content (announcements, articles, invitations)
  • Running your own personal projects
  • Work and interact with other teams
  • Brainstorm new initiatives
  • Meet up with customers and partners

You would be perfect for this role if you have/are:

  • Currently studying/finishing your studies in Marketing, Communication, Hospitality or any other field that equips you for content creation, event management, and operational excellence
  • Mandatory internship of minimum 6 months required for your studies
  • Great organizational skills
  • You are independent and proactive in the way you work
  • You enjoy interacting with external and internal stakeholders
  • Attention to detail in written communication and proficiency in syntax, grammar, and spelling
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word (Pages), Excel (Numbers), and PowerPoint (Keynote). Experience with Figma, Canva, Zapier and/or Circle is a plus.
  • Highly confident in your written and oral English skills to produce content for native speakers
  • Being passionate about the Hospitality industry and Community management is a plus
  • You have 1 year of work experience
