Role: Content Custodian / Project Manager

About the role:Working in partnership with the client, Content Custodian / Project Manager will excel at driving harmonization and operational effectiveness and efficiencies related to the workflows, standards, guidelines, compliance, and cataloging of content to meet business needs. As a member of this function, your contributions will be critical in supporting and enhancing our work product across the sphere of content supporting key stakeholders spanning multiple business portfolios and functions. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a change-oriented mindset and can-do attitude who thrives on creating, improving, implementing, and managing processes; a strong collaborator who can manage the complex; and a skilled influencer who can navigate a dynamic, matrixed organization.
What you will be doing:- Drive operational efficiencies, ensure quality-control, and develop additional standards to complement/enhance the content creation and approval processes.
- Serve as Content Custodian to key stakeholders to drive the completeness, accuracy, consistency, and cataloguing of approved content and assets to ensure effectiveness in downstream applications.
- Research, document and facilitate the consistent management and maintenance of Marketing content and assets in the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to meet business needs.
- Counsel key Division stakeholders (e.g., Marketing Communications, Integrated/Digital Marketing, Segment & Portfolio Marketing, other functional SMEs) to ensure approved projects and associated content and assets meet compliance standards and business requirements.
- Work with other Content Operations functions (e.g., Content Compliance & Governance, Product Content Management & Digitization) to influence, create, administer, and maintain the standards and guidelines, training materials, policies, procedures, and other supporting documents for those responsible for developing, approving, and ensuring compliant asset retention.
- Help onboard and train internal and external new users across applicable systems and processes (e.g., DAM, Content Review & Approval System, etc.) and act as internal consultant to build organizational fluency.
- Work with Marketing Technology, System Vendors and cross-divisionally to consistently monitor and improve the Digital Asset Management and Content Review & Approval processes, workflows,and systems.
- Provide analyses and report on systems’ performance to guide continuous improvement, opportunities and/or that lead to identifying and driving new processes that benefit the businesses and/or company.
- Communicate effectively with Division functions and other stakeholders.
- Manage/co-manage Global Marketing Content Operations Coordinator, determining priorities and timetables, assigning resources/tasks, advising on progress, and providing performance feedback. Accountable for the activities and results of their subordinates.
Content Asset Management & Maintenance
- Provide guidance for accurately catalogued assets, accompanied by appropriate documentation.
- Work with agencies and internal resources to ensure final files meet completeness and compliance requirements.
- With Content Compliance & Governance, reinforce asset readiness for DAM across Content
Owners/Creators:

- Ensure licensing and copyright information complies with Company standards and accompanies the content and assets.
- Ensure file standards/formats are correct.
- Ensure digital assets are tagged with relevant details—such as the creation date, file name, file type, and file category—in the form of metadata for enhanced organization and ease-ofsearch/use.
- Ensure file names for assets are descriptive, accurate, consistent, and reflective of how the assets relate to other files in the system.
- Recommend best practices and standards for metadata accuracy.
- Develop standard reporting processes for timely execution of projects and asset lifecycle.
- Guide or support asset related work (i.e.: conduct audits associated with assets such as YouTube videos, product recalls; running asset reports, making collections for teams, access to systems, global inquiries, taking down videos, archiving discontinued product content assets, etc.)
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures and associated training.
- Create best practices that serve Divisions and/or enterprise.
- Identify and implement continuous process improvements.
Content Review & Approval System
- Provide functional knowledge to serve the business to set up projects and troubleshoot issues to resolve problems as needed.
- Partner with Division functions, Marketing Technology, and other functions to drive operational effectiveness.
- Create, administer, and maintain training materials, policies, procedures and other supporting documents.
- Train new resources and update current users as needed.
- Serve as primary contact for Division-specific internal audits.
Content Compliance, Standards & Guidelines
- Support Content Compliance & Governance team in setting standards for assets, such as file name criteria, separating images from artwork, media channel specifications, etc.
- Reinforce corporate licensing and purchasing process and requirements for stock imagery, music, and video.
- Assist with training materials, policies, procedures, and other supporting documents for stakeholders responsible for developing assets.
- Understand and help enforce corporate compliance related to content creation policies, guidance, and distribution. Navigate the organization to consult with necessary SMEs as needed.
- Consult with other content creators to ensure compliance, standards and leverage proper resources, such as Application Engineering, Global Medical Sciences, Technical Content Creators, etc.
- Train internal personal, external agencies and consult as needed.
- You will be open and willing to attend sustainability training relevant to your role and soak up recommended research and reading about sustainability issues
- Demonstrated experience creating and/or managing content within associated systems and processes that allow for operational effectiveness and efficiencies.
- Excellent Project Management skills with a strong competency in creating, improving, and driving processes, training, and organizational influence.
- Creative, technical, probing, and analytical aptitude.
- Outstanding attention to detail, coupled with solid follow-through and documentation.
- Collaborative, flexible and adaptable within a fast-paced, highly matrixed, highly regulated, and geographically diverse business environment.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in a related field such as Business Administration, Marketing, Marketing Communications, Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, or Mass Communications.
- A minimum of four (4) years of Project Management experience, working in a Marketing environment, ideally in a regulated industry in a private, public, government or military environment
- (Medical/Healthcare industry experience highly preferred)
- Experience working with and driving Digital Asset Management systems, and other Marketing technology platforms.
- Working knowledge of Marketing asset development through digitization.
