Our Content Manager plays an essential role in the strategy, conception, and design of beautiful output across Grey channels. They bring exceptional creative and strategic thought to Grey.com to explore the narratives of ground-breaking work and announcements. The Content Manager will help to showcase studios’ best projects, news and awards across channels to celebrate teams and increase Grey’s reputation. The role will report into the Chief Communication Officer and will work alongside the AKQA PR and Marketing team on a regular basis.

 Grey channels

  • Manage the pipeline and production of case studies globally to build exquisite, considered, well-crafted enhanced pages that showcase the best work on Grey.com. Work closely with the design teams to ensure pages are engaging and demonstrate the best Grey has to offer. 
  • Ensure client work is displayed correctly across channels, following approval processes and embargoes. Managing a balance between Grey guidelines and client specifications to get features approved and live on time. 
  • Work alongside the client teams to write, edit and proof-read content for Grey.com including case studies, news articles, thought leadership, people features, culture, career and additional pages.
  • Ensure content is fully aligned across all Grey communication touchpoints. 
  • Create and drive a clear content strategy across Grey.com that ties into our lead generation and website optimisation. Implement communication strategies to showcase existing expertise, i.e., AI.
  • Constantly oversee Grey channels to make sure all content reads well, looks exemplary, is still relevant etc. Ensure the site is easy to navigate with work placed under the correct expertise and tagged correctly. 
  • Have the visitor experience, web accessibility and page tracking at the centre of all content creation. Support the web team with debugging, snagging, and site updates, ensuring planned developments are delivered to schedule.
  • Develop social presence across platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok. Ensure social output is exceptional and showcases the best of Grey.
  • Make sure diversity and inclusion is considered across all Grey channels. 

 Framework and Reporting

  • Leverage analytic tools to provide reporting and insights, track and improve metrics.
  • Craft and deliver the Framework Report every quarter that is of the highest standard, informative, engaging. Work with local teams to ensure this is delivered on time.

Grey Marketing Team Tasks

  • Communicate well across global teams, managing studio expectations, approvals, deadlines, product workflow, updates, and priorities. Act as a key point of contact for Grey.com and become a Contentful super user.
  • Work alongside Marketing team on day to day to support with social and AKQA Weekly. Help to develop their roles within the marketing team, assisting them to grasp Grey channels and guiding them to help with content creation. 
  • Oversee the marketing calendar for case studies, awards case study publishing and Weekly scheduling. Work with PR team members on the global studio calendar to track releases, conducting regular outreach to teams to ensure the global marketing team are aware of new work. 
  • Research and provide guidance for new tools and technologies to improve digital presence.
  • Constantly ensure brand guidelines, templates and tools are easy to access, well communicated, updated with any new components and easy to use.
  • Always follow best practice for archiving i.e., saving all assets to Egnyte. Using Figma boards to arrange content.
