This role is BANGKOK-BASED, RELOCATION PROVIDED.

Position Overview: We are looking for a highly creative and talented Copywriter to join our team at Agoda. As a key contributor, you will craft compelling, emotive, and thought-provoking scripts and copy across a variety of platforms, including TV commercials, social media, and other video assets. Your role will be essential in delivering clear, engaging messages that align with Agoda's brand voice and positioning, while driving consumer engagement through storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write captivating and entertaining scripts for TV commercials, video content, and other visual assets.
  • Develop compelling short-form and long-form copy for branding campaigns, social media, performance campaigns, OOH, and event materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, producers, motion designers, and email specialists, to create integrated campaigns across different touchpoints.
  • Lead brainstorms and concept exercises, contributing strong ideas and overseeing their execution into best-in-class creative work.
  • Ensure all written content adheres to Agoda’s brand voice and positioning, maintaining consistency across multiple platforms and projects.
  • Demonstrate an audience-first approach to your writing, using consumer insights to guide ideation and creative execution.
  • Showcase a solid portfolio with a diverse range of work, including branding campaigns, OOH, taglines, TV scripts, performance-led headlines, email lifecycle content, and more.
  • Collaborate with other writers and departments (e.g., Marketing/Comms, Content, Product, and Support) to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a copywriter, with a strong focus on writing for brands, campaigns, and events at agencies or in-house.
  • Excellent short-form and long-form writing skills, with a portfolio that includes TV scripts, OOH, social media, taglines, and performance-led copy.
  • Proven experience in copywriting for the e-commerce ecosystem, including display ads, emails, and notifications.
  • Strong ideation and concepting capabilities, with the ability to generate fresh, consumer-driven ideas.
  • A solid understanding of how to align copy with brand positioning and voice, ensuring clarity and consistency across all deliverables.
  • Collaborative mindset, working effectively with designers, producers, and other creatives to bring big ideas to life.
  • Agency or in-house experience is required, with demonstrated ability to deliver compelling, impactful writing across various channels and mediums.
  • Experience in multi-geographies and multicultural environments: Proven ability to adapt copywriting styles and messaging to resonate with diverse cultural contexts and international markets, ensuring that content is engaging and consistent with brand voice across various regions.
  • Proven portfolio of relevant works must be included with application.
