Our Data Engineering team is looking for a Data Operations Team Lead to join the team! 

As a Data DevOps Team Lead at Betsson Group, you will lead a team of talented people and take overall responsibility for team performance. As the Team Lead, you will take an active role in driving the delivery of your team and promoting a healthy team spirit and culture. You will also ensure each individual in the team is given the platform to succeed and a high level of support in their career development. Our ethos is that to effectively lead a team, you need to actively participate in its activities, and therefore you will be expected to be a hands-on member of the team. You will be responsible for a specific technical domain, ensuring quality delivery, facilitator for processes, and people management. 

• Build a high performing team with the right mix of skills and knowledge
• Direct line management of people in the team, being accountable for their performance, satisfaction, and career development planning
• Motivate the team to maintain high technical standards and collaborate with Tech Leads and Architect
• Ensure that team processes and routines are defined, organised, and continuously reviewed and optimised
• Resolve/escalate impediments to team performance
• Main point of contact for the team, facilitating open communication and co-ordination with other team
• Ensure all administrative tasks related to the team are performed in a timely manner.
• Active member of the team, with the expectation that your time would be split 50/50 between team leadership and technical work
• Assist your line manager in any matters that may be further delegated to you
• Ensure the domain's systems operate smoothly, with minimal incidents
• Directs developers to meet strategic objectives by setting directions, directing and monitoring tasks and goals: Set up and oversee agile development environment, ensure best development processes are followed and adhered, ensure the squad(s) delivers on its responsibilities, ensure the efficiencies in the squad(s) agile processes
• Completes planning activities by gathering background information, determining goals and objectives, evaluating alternatives, reviewing and creating proposals and evaluates resource allocation
• Communicates progress of development including agendas, milestones and issues
• Point of contact for Product Owners on planning, resource availability, strategic development effort
• Point of contact for Business Stakeholders on support in relation to the Data Product

• Graduate in B.S Computer Science or Equivalent Work experience
• Approximately 4 years working experience in Data DevOps
• Approximately 2 years working in a leadership role
