The Role

Pantheon is scaling thoughtfully and we want you to be part of our business transformation. You will sit at the intersection of Sales, Finance, Legal, and Accounting, acting as a trusted advisor ensuring scalable growth for the entire business. You are a sound business thinker with excellent communication and collaboration skills who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment. This position reports to our Deal Desk Manager.

This role will act in a fiduciary capacity in managing first line approvals for the deal approval process, including deal structuring and accelerating deal closures. This will be accomplished by meeting with your sales teams to identify Customers’ critical business issues and assist in structuring the transaction that meets both Client's requirements and the Customer’s needs.

What you need to Succeed 

  • Serve as a trusted adviser to Sales on Enterprise deal related matters 
  • Provide proactive support and guidance to Sales for creative deal structuring, alternative contract options, and value positioning 
  • Review Order Forms for accuracy, pricing and compliance; perform to a specified set of metrics and service levels 
  • Queue and approval management for sales orders; escalating orders as required 
  • Work closely with Sales Management, Finance, Legal and Support teams
  • Drive best practices to increase Deal Desk and sales efficiency and effectiveness across the organization including understanding existing policy/rules and identifying gaps or process issues.
  • Analysis and reporting on transaction trends, efficiency metrics, and areas for improving efficiency.  
  • Deliver relevant training to new and existing sales people on Deal Desk, order processes and overall QTC best practices
  • Responsible for adherence to and compliance with policy and procedures around revenue recognition and operational guidelines. 

What you Bring to the Table

  • 1+ years of sales, finance, or operations experience 
  • Strong business acumen, problem-solving, reporting and analytics skills 
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize at times of high volume
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Positive, team oriented attitude 
  • Understanding of and experience with quote-to-cash processes and contract lifecycle preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce, CLM tool(s), CPQ tool(s) preferred
