Role: Design Team Lead

About the role:
In collaboration with our client, the Design Team Lead plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of impactful print and digital communications that inspire prospective homebuyers. Cala Homes is renowned for building premium homes that combine exceptional design, meticulous craftsmanship, and outstanding value.
Reporting to the Account Director, the Design Team Lead is part of a dynamic team of 13, comprising both client services and creative professionals. Collaboration is essential, as this role works closely with multiple regions as well as client’s central Group teams
What you will be doing:
- Leadership and development of a dedicated team centred around design/creative art working
- Effective daily management of the OLIVER team on-site; providing direction, key decision-making, support and guidance as needed
- Conduct research into industry best practices to inform and enhance project outcomes
- Assist in briefing and reviewing studio outputs to ensure alignment with client expectations
- Manage and develop all toolkits
- Lead on process creation and revision.
- Responsible for all creative output and QC
- Support and mentor junior team members, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality visual outcomes – line management of 4
- Ensuring all team members log and manage time accordingly as business requirement
- Creative ability with strong Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
- Experience in the use of Pencil and other AI tools.
What you need to be great in this role:
- Experience in the property or residential sector (client or agency side), particularly in marketing, brand development, land, sustainability, or technical departments beneficial
- Strong leadership and communication skills, coupled with the ability to inspire and lead a creative team
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to suggest improvements
- A consumer-first approach to problem-solving and campaign development
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- A positive, can-do attitude and a collaborative spirit
