Opportunity
In this highly impactful and visible role at Ivalua, you will lead the North America Marketing team, build the strategy and plans to increase brand awareness and drive pipeline growth for the region, in tight collaboration with the Sales, Product Marketing, and Global Digital teams. You will lead online and offline programs and activities, with a focus on account-based marketing and events, especially our flagship premier yearly customer event. The ideal candidate has strong business savvy, a data-driven mindset, is hands-on, and is a remarkable team leader and mentor. This position reports to the VP of Corporate Marketing (based in Redwood City, California).
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, develop, and inspire a team of 6 event and field marketing managers
- Lead the marketing strategy and plans for the region, in support of the regional GTM, in collaboration with the Sales, Product Marketing, and Global Digital teams
- Develop multi-channel programs, leveraging a mix of digital and offline tactics, to drive and convert leads at the regional level. Collaborate with the Product Marketing team on content development to support regional plans.
- Lead the Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategy, plans, and programs for the region and its key verticals, in collaboration with the Sales and Global ABM teams
- Lead our major premier yearly customer event to elevate the brand and generate high impact on deal win rate and velocity
- Manage the event team and strategy to further build brand awareness and generate leads
- Establish, monitor, and report to the leadership team on pipeline progression and other key KPIs measuring the return on the region’s marketing programs. Recommend and execute corrective actions based on learnings. Cascade and manage the team's KPIs.
- Recommend, monitor, and manage the AMER team budget, providing clear guidelines to the AMER team members, striving for generating growth and optimal return on regional spend
Skills You Need to Succeed
- Minimum 10+ years of successful track record in a senior marketing role and multi-channel integrated campaign creation, or 7+ years with Master's degree
- Solid experience in account-based marketing, paid advertising, email marketing, content marketing, and event marketing
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent team leadership and development skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Proven track-record of using data-driven insights to inform operational decisions
- Ability to create exceptional partnership with Sales and Sales Development teams
- Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
- Digitally-savvy with marketing automation tools and reporting - Hubspot a plus but not required
Preferred Experience
- Domain experience in Spend Management, Supply Chain, or Procurement software a plus but not required

In addition to location, compensation may also vary based upon job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Title: Americas Marketing Director
Range minimum: $127,500
Range maximum: $212,500
Additional compensation / rewards: Ivalua offers an annual target bonus for this position conditional on individual and company performance. Other compensation factors may also be considered. Ivalua also offers exceptional benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement (with company match), and much more.
