What is The Role:

Elastic is seeking an EMEA Onboarding Manager to design and implement a structured, high-touch onboarding process tailored to the diverse needs of the EMEA region. This role will lead the regional onboarding experience, focusing on continuous engagement with new hires and managers during their first 90 days to ensure alignment with Elastic’s culture, values, and regional priorities. The Onboarding Manager will work closely with regional leadership and cross-functional teams to create a welcoming and productive experience that accelerates new hire performance and retention.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Design and execute Region specific onboarding programs that cater to the cultural, linguistic, and regulatory diversity of the EMEA region.
  • Partner with EMEA hiring managers and leaders to ensure onboarding aligns with regional business goals and priorities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for new hires in EMEA during their first 90 days, providing regular check-ins and support to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Conduct regular touchpoints with managers to align on onboarding progress and address any challenges.
  • Host live onboarding sessions, workshops, and discussions tailored to EMEA-specific needs to foster connection and engagement.
  • Facilitate interactive sessions that introduce Elastic’s culture, tools, role expectations, and EMEA-specific priorities.
  • Develop customized onboarding plans for new hires based on their roles, experience levels, and regional requirements.
  • Provide resources and training tailored to individual needs and aligned with EMEA market dynamics.
  • Establish and monitor onboarding KPIs such as time-to-productivity, retention rates, and engagement levels.
  • Gather feedback from new hires and managers to identify areas for improvement and continuously refine onboarding programs.
  • Work closely with EMEA leadership, HR, and Sales Enablement teams to ensure onboarding supports regional strategies.
  • Collaborate with global onboarding teams to maintain consistency in onboarding frameworks while adapting to EMEA-specific needs.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and recommendations within the sales organization, sharing best practices.
  • Stay informed about EMEA-specific labor laws, cultural practices, and market trends to ensure onboarding programs remain relevant.
  • Regularly update onboarding materials to reflect changes in Elastic’s product offerings and EMEA business priorities.

 

What You Bring With You:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in onboarding, training, or enablement roles, preferably in a regional or global capacity.
  • Demonstrated success in managing onboarding or training programs within the EMEA region.
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills with the ability to engage a diverse and multilingual audience.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to oversee multiple onboarding initiatives.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience tracking and analyzing onboarding performance metrics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales, pre-sales, and senior business leaders.
