Role: EMEA Talent Partner 

Location:Cape Town/Johannesburg, South Africa

 

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the EMEA Talent Partner will help with sourcing, identifying, screening, and hiring candidates for various roles in the company. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, at least three years of experience in talent acquisition, proficiency with applicant tracking systems, and an ability to devise sourcing strategies for potential applicants. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with others across various departments.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Source potential candidates through various channels, including online platforms, networking events, and referrals.
  • Review resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications and fit for open positions.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidate suitability and interest in available roles.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Facilitate the interview process, including preparing interview questions and providing feedback to candidates.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings for selected candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Recruiter or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, including sourcing techniques and interview methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
