About The RoleAs an Employee Life-cycle Project Specialist at ThousandEyes, you will enhance the engineering experience through employee onboarding programs, team updates, data management, and continuous learning initiatives. You will support special projects, and team events, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of key projects and strategies. Your efforts will foster a nurturing and engaging work environment, contributing to the Engineering team's overall morale and success.
This hybrid role requires the team member to be present in our San Francisco office at least three days a week.
What You’ll Do- Oversee Onboarding Programs: Lead and manage onboarding for new hires, ensuring smooth integration.
- Maintain Project Management Data: Create and manage project plans, tracking and reporting progress.
- Coordinate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with HR, Recruiting, and other departments to streamline onboarding.
- Coordinate Special Projects: Collaborate with Engineering leaders on projects aligned with team goals.
- Organize and Support Events: Plan and support team events, including boot camps, brown bag sessions, and Tech Talks.
- Support Key Projects and Strategies: Assist in driving key Engineering projects for sustainable growth.
- Manage Project Milestones: Plan project timelines and resources along with following up on issues with stakeholders.
- Partner on Company-Wide Initiatives: Collaborate on broad initiatives and contribute to company culture.
- 4+ years of experience as a Project Specialist, Project Manager, or similar positions.
- Experience with employee onboarding programs
- Wp of MS Office and Google Workspace
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Google slides
- Experience supporting Engineering teams
- Experience with Engineering branding

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
