As an Employee Relations Specialist reporting into our Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Youfoodz based in Karawatha, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert guidance on employee and industrial relations matters across the organisation. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end ER & IR cases, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and supporting business leaders in fostering a fair, compliant, and high-performing workplace. Working closely with HR, Payroll, Workforce Planning, and Workplace Health & Safety teams, you will drive process improvements and ensure best practices in ER & IR policies.

• Manage and provide guidance on employee relations issues, including misconduct, grievances, and investigations.
• Lead confidential investigations with fairness and integrity.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, industrial instruments, company policies, and procedures.
• Stay updated on employment law and advise on compliance and risk.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Workforce Planning, and WHS teams on labour initiatives and Award compliance.
• Act as the first point of contact for union-related matters.
• Engage with external legal advisors and providers on ER & IR matters.
• Deliver training sessions for managers and employees on HR policies and employment legislation.

• A degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HR or employee relations.
• Experience conducting end-to-end workplace investigations.
• Proven ability to provide ER/IR support and advice to managers.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and industrial relations frameworks.
