We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers working on customer-facing products for advertisers. You’ll manage a global team of engineers with a large footprint in Mexico. In this role you’ll lead a team that’s responsible for multiple business-critical products and systems. You’ll partner closely with other leaders in Engineering, Product, and Design to shape the team’s strategy and deliver project milestones on ambitious schedules. We need a leader who’s excited about growing their team into the strongest version of itself, and holding a high bar for engineering excellence within their team. What you’ll do:

  • Lead a team of experienced Web/API/Fullstack engineers in Mexico City.
  • Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of the members of the team.
  • Champion operational excellence amongst your team.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to shape the strategy and define the roadmap for a team responsible for high-impact business-critical systems.
  • Keep the team accountable for hitting business goals and driving meaningful impact.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams developing products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, people development, and software project management skills.
  • Ability to deliver on immediate goals and form long-term strategies around technology, process, and people.
  • Demonstrated track record of improving software quality with stable releases.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of application development with a deeper understanding of Web/API.
  • Adept at building strong cross-functional relationships and navigating organizational intricacies to build alignment and drive value for the organization.
