Event Marketing Specialist
Location Qualifications: Chicago (hybrid, 2days in-office), Austin, Boston, New York City (hybrid, 1day/month in-person gathering)
Position Overview:As the Event Marketing Specialist, you are at the forefront, getting our message directly to our most important internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of hands-on experience in planning and executing B2B field events and webinars. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a proven ability to drive successful outcomes. You will be responsible for initial planning through to post-event evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning & Execution: Develop and manage comprehensive project briefs and timelines, ensuring all tasks are clearly defined and deadlines are met. Coordinate with internal teams, external agencies, and vendors to ensure seamless execution. Provide updates and progress to key stakeholders regularly.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product to capture, convert, and nurture high-quality pipeline. Build and maintain relationships with external partners, sponsors, and vendors.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. Track expenses and provide regular budget reports.
- Event Execution: Oversee event logistics on-site, ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for attendees. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the event.
- Post-Event Analysis: Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually enhance owned and sponsored event strategies and execution.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in B2B marketing, event planning, or similar role.
- Skills: Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
- Data driven and analytical mindset: We are building repeatable and programmatic growth
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders and represent the company professionally.
- Creativity: Demonstrated ability to create engaging and innovative event concepts.
- Experience with Salesforce, Asana, Zoom webinars, and Agile methodologies is a plus
- Education: Bachelor degree in a relevant subject is a plus
- Ability to travel (~20%).
