THE JOURNEY

  • Develop and/or maintain insightful management reports and analysis about the overall company performance and provide professional advice in relation to operational performance
  • Gather input from the commercial & operations departments and translate & adjust them into budgets, forecasts and long term plans, defining and monitoring financial & operational targets to steer the performance of the Company
  • Manage operational information, financial statements and preparation of forecasts & budget
  • Be involved in management control: definition of procedures, the design of budget processes
  • Prepare & present monthly, quarterly / annual finance reports and analysis (P&L and cost-saving plans)
  • Prepare analysis and justifications of actuals data, forecasts, and deviations
  • Study the viability of investments/projects - reports, strategic reorientation, etc.
  • Assess new business opportunities and new vertical developments and changes
  • Incubate and lead the launch of new projects in the Country
  • Business partnering to Senior management in financial and operations matters
  • Take part in the month end closing process from adjustments to the production of management reporting & accounting (P&L, BS)
  • Investigate the reasons for differences between the planned and actual results, highlighting to superior management impact on the business
  • Ad hoc analysis to provide the different managers with information for decision making

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance (ACCA/CPA Certification would be considered an advantage)
  • 5+ years accounting experience in a similar position
  • Experience of working in Commercial Finance in the  E-commerce or FMCG industry
  • Advanced MS Excel Skills (pivot tables, sumifs, vlookup, Charts etc) & Google Workspace
  • Knowledge of the English language (advanced)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • High levels of professionalism, initiative, energy, creativity and flexibility
  • Knowledge of local accounting and tax standards (Local GAAP)

  • Project management
    • Highly organised and detail-oriented approach, you are able to maintain and deliver on time multiple project simultaneously
