  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business planning, forecasting, valuation, and decision-making processes.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential risks and opportunities. Provide insights into financial performance and strategy.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Scenario Analysis: Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives, market changes, and investment opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including accounting, operations, and strategic planning, to gather data and validate assumptions.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal financial policies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial modeling efficiency and accuracy.

  • Analytical Skills: This is paramount – the ability to dissect complex financial data, identify trends, forecast outcomes, and provide strategic insights.
  • Financial Modeling: Advanced proficiency in building robust financial models is a core requirement. 
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets proficiency, alongside familiarity with financial software and business intelligence tools.
  • Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: The ability to proactively identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Accounting Knowledge: A strong understanding of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement) and accounting principles (IFRS, GAAP where applicable).
  • Attention to Detail & Accuracy: Given the nature of financial data, meticulousness is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization.
  • Commercial Acumen: Understanding how financial data impacts the overall business strategy and market position.
  • Adaptability & Resilience: The financial environment can be fast-paced with tight deadlines.
