Where you’ll work:
Depending on the needs of your business area, we expect hub based people to be in the office at least once a week, and to go to OVO Connection events in-person.
You’ll be assigned to the closest one of our three hub offices, Bristol, Glasgow, or London; unless your role requires field-based work. Each hub has accessible spaces to park your laptop, is designed to inspire people, help them connect and bring big ideas to life.

This role in a nutshell:
You’ll be working with our multi award winning Fleet team, assisting us in reaching our 100% full electric fleet target, part of the wider Customer Fulfilment team.
Your key outcomes will be:
- Build the metrics framework including vehicle out of service time, cost, and convenience to determine the effectiveness of our fleet at scale
- Lead technology integration to digitise the entire fleet operation. Looking at how we can leverage technology to focus on efficiency, complete remedial tasks, eliminate data entry, find better ways to manage vehicle inspection reports, monitor preventative maintenance schedules, connect fuel/charge cards and consumption and improve driver safety and experience.
- Work closely with our lease providers, vehicle manufacturers, telemetry suppliers and other suppliers to secure the service we need whilst optimising costs.
- Proactively evaluate fleet performance, working closely with the Senior Fleet Manager to define success metrics and desired impact to improve performance based on deep dive analysis.
- Design and develop a scalable Fleet demand model, working closely with suppliers to improve forecast lead time and accuracy. Work closely with our finance business partner to ensure plans meet peak demand whilst ensuring financial efficiency.
- Be the point of contact for suppliers providing information to support operations in receiving the right level of information and reporting. Work with suppliers to continuously improve the service offering.
- Responsible for developing the fleet strategy for OVO and supporting the changing vehicle needs (i.e. electric vehicles the future of charging, developing flexible rental capacity plans that can help us scale up/down as required; cost analysis on motoring offence charges etc); creating innovative variable fleet solutions that meet our business goals and objectives. Engage with people managers and leaders, both externally and internally, to deliver a best-in-class driver experience.
- Develop a fleet roadmap and prioritise key milestones. Communicate effectively so all stakeholders understand the direction and vision and are aligned. Proactively engage with all areas across OVO to identify interdependencies, mutually beneficial goals, and influencing leadership.
- Set up scalable and reliable ways to measure success and mechanisms to detect issues before they become risks.
- Fleet projects, ownership and stakeholder management for all new fleet initiatives.

- Previous experience in a fleet administration/management role is essential
- Proven success in a customer-facing role (internal/external) with a focus on building strong cross-functional relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data to solve complex, ambiguous business challenges.
- Passion and knowledge for logistics and transportation
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with diverse groups, including suppliers, business owners and senior leadership.
- Experience working with and influencing remote teams.
- Have a proactive approach to tasks and projects, effectively managing and completing objectives & ability to adapt to shifting priorities and challenging situations.
- Strong operations background and understanding of vehicle operations.

We’ll pay you between £31,750 and £35,000, depending on your specific skills and experience. If your expectations are a little different, have a chat with us!
