The role

The Business Intelligence team aims to steer the business through robust and insights-driven data analytics and is looking for a Forecast and BI Analyst to join our Auckland-based team!

This role involves managing New Zealand’s forecast, including budgeting, customer orders, and inventory needs. You'll provide all necessary forecast data and analytics for the business. Additionally, you'll work on forecast projects for HelloFresh ANZ brands and collaborate with BI teams in Ops Analytics and Data Engineering.

What you’ll do
  • Own the end-to-end forecast across analytics, process, projects and stakeholder management
  • Create actionable forecasting insights and models to improve forecasting accuracy and understanding of customer behaviour (e.g., recipe selections, pause behaviours, etc.)
  • Advance existing forecast models to reflect an increasingly complex product offering
  • Be confident in communicating forecast assumptions to non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders across markets (New Zealand, Australia, Berlin, London) and across various supply chain and product initiatives
  • Build dashboards, reporting and visualisations to ensure regular tracking of performance
  • Promote forecast data literacy and enabling stakeholders to better understand and own the forecast, including training materials and cross-functional collaboration  
What you’ll bring
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field
  • Prior work experience in a relevant Analytical, Data Engineering and Machine Learning role
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python and GIT is a must
  • Data-driven, solid analytical and quantitative thinking with a logical approach
  • Detail-oriented, inherent drive to seek new information and explore topics in-depth
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and strong stakeholder management
  • Experience in Machine Learning Models, Databricks and Tableau  is a plus
