This role is aimed at individuals who have experience managing a small team of high performers, ideally in the world of fraud, and can use metrics and proven management skills to set the team up for success. Reporting to our Associate Director of Content Fraud and working in close collaboration with the rest of our Trust & Safety team, in addition to our Legal, Public Relations, Engineering, and Public Policy teams, you will be an integral part of ongoing efforts to ensure that Tripadvisor delivers the best, unbiased content to our users.
What you will do:

Lead, motivate and coach a team of dedicated fraud fighters.

Report to the Associate Director of Content Fraud and provide direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance

Collaborate with the Associate Director of Content Fraud to drive decisions that will impact the team and to set measurable key objectives and goals

Be responsible for team performance by providing regular feedback via group and individual meetings, including conducting regular performance reviews

Manage progress towards fraud key metrics both at an individual and team-wide level, identifying challenges and risks and proactively implementing solutions

Facilitate the onboarding of new team members

Focus on operations of manual tasks, with an emphasis on automation, efficiency, and a reduction of median response time

Act as initial escalation point of contact for the team on fraud policies and decisions

Prepare and effectively communicate presentations for both internal and external stakeholders as needed

Oversee maintenance of reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

Drive implementation of projects and product ideas using relevant metrics to identify problems, support proposals, and forecast volume focusing on efficiency, speed, and scalability

Work with management to implement changes to policy based on current trends and events

Some travel may be required
Skills & Experience:
-
5+ years relevant professional experience
-
1+ years experience leading a team
-
Advanced experience using Google and Microsoft products and web-based tools, such as SQL and Tableau
-
Strong attention to detail with excellent time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills

Sound judgment with a talent for resolving complex problems and making decisions based on potential impact to the business

Strong communication skills and proven success collaborating across a global team at all levels of the company

Success driving projects and measuring impact at both the individual and team level
-
Experience leading teams through changing business processes

Track record of using KPIs to improve team performance

Demonstrated experience leading small teams

Effective problem solving with a focus on conflict-resolution

University degree or equivalent experience preferred

Knowledge of multiple languages a plus
