Front End Engineer (Email Development)
The Front-End Developer (FED) is responsible for completing front-end tasks and providing support to web applications. The FED is able to work independently in basic tasks, assuming ownership for the design and programming required. For more complex work, this individual will rely on existing designs and seek guidance from more senior positions. The FED should also be able to provide constant progress status to a senior level as needed and estimates for his tasks, that must be approved by his senior or technology lead of the current project.
A FED works with web applications and a variety of front-end technologies, including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
You Will:
- Collaborate in implementing data exchange between application layers via AJAX
- Work closely with Creative, Business, Technology and QA teams to ensure quality and punctual web development
- Translate graphical designs and wireframes into fully styled markup code
- Implement technical solutions following the Capability’s best practices
- Debug or troubleshoots issues in existing web applications
- Provide feedback on policies and procedures when an opportunity for improvement exists
- Ensure concise and clear documentation is maintained by all peers for the projects as dictated by each Capability’s guidelines and best practices
- Email development task
You Have:
- 2+ years of experience working with Front-End technologies
- English Proficiency (B2+ reading, writing, and conversation)
- Knowledge of Cross-browser and Responsive development
- Working experience with email development
- Proficiency using Adobe Campaign.
- Work experience designing and developing web applications using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Understanding of recent development practices (Mobile First, MVC, Object Oriented development)
- Work experience with cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
- Proficiency in using design tools (such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma and Sketch)
- Fluency in at least one major mainstream JavaScript library and/or framework (eg. jQuery, Angular, React, VueJS, etc...)
- Work experience integrating with backend APIs and services.
- Understanding of web design patterns (e.g., model-view-controller, observer, etc.) and modern web design practices (eg. Responsive Web Design)
- Experience debugging or troubleshooting web applications, preferably using debugging tools such as browser-plugins, IDEs or debugging proxies.
- Experience working with version control systems (like Git)
- Work experience with data transfer formats popular in web applications (eg. JSON, XML)
- Knowledge in accessibility and SEO best practices.
- Knowledge in CSS pre-processors (like SASS and LESS)
- BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline; or equivalent experience as Software Development in exact areas of expertise required for CM (Digital Agencies projects, Web development projects, SCRUM/Agile software projects).
