The role

Global Business Development ManagerJoin our dynamic Global Growth Partnerships Partnerships team, where you will have full ownership of our new partner business development efforts across several verticals to drive impactful new partnerships and new business development projects in HelloFresh's Global Growth Marketing organisation.

As Global Business Development Manager, you will be part of an exciting new growth phase of the Global Partnerships channel within the HelloFresh Group and the highly energetic and impactful Global Partnerships team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an exciting journey where you can contribute to our strategic direction and future operating model for new partner acquisition and incremental revenue growth! 

 

We are looking for a candidate with experience and a proven track record in successful development of new revenue generating partnerships with leading international brands to deliver on the broader business objectives. Someone that can demonstrate both experience and success in developing a new partner acquisition strategy, qualified sales pipeline and building strong relationships with potential partners to promote our brands and products to their customer base to drive profitable new customers and revenue growth. You will have worked with internal and external stakeholders across functions and level of seniority up to C-level. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You also need to possess a high degree of business acumen to think strategically with scale in mind while autonomously moving potential new business opportunities from prospecting to launch, while managing key internal and external stakeholders.

What you’ll do
  • Responsible to contribute to the setting of and to deliver quarterly and annual business goals from new multi-market marketing partnerships
  • Collaborate closely with relevant cross functional senior stakeholders to deliver business development strategy and achieve objectives
  • Translates central strategy into a new partner business development strategy to drive customer and MM€ revenue growth through performance based international partnerships and co-branding opportunities
  • Conduct vertical relevant market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities and competitive insights to develop a competitive partner offering
  • Identify, evaluate and prioritize potential strategic international partners across assigned verticals
  • Track and report progress across the full new partner sales cycle, identify and resolve bottleneck to improve success rate and decrease time to market
  • Own the marketing  partner vertical development; identify and evaluate potential new verticals and present the value, requirements and business development approach to the Growth Partnerships Team leadership team and key stakeholders across the organization
  • Develop commercial and product requirement business cases and documentation incl. pipeline review reports, value realization reporting, etc
  • Create HelloFresh Group pitch deck and presentations for global reach performance marketing partnership opportunities and act as main point of contact for high potential, global new partnership business enquiries
  • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring mutual business objectives are well defined and can be met
  • Contribute to new business forecasts and budgets
  • Deliver regular pipeline and new partner business reports and reviews
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across all levels and colleagues cross-functionally (Growth Partnerships partnership and platform teams, legal, analytics, local markets, etc)

 

What you’ll bring
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Marketing, Business Management or equivalent work experience
  • At least 7 year experience in the online marketing industry, ideally in affiliate marketing or performance based strategic partnerships
  • Equipped with solid knowledge of the affiliate and marketing partnerships landscape, common commercial models and tracking solutions and third party platforms as well as reporting dashboards such as Tableau
  • Proficient English in written and spoken form, fluency in German, French or Spanish will be an advantage
  • A critical thinker with strong analytical and organizational skills, able to work independently and prioritize with determination and ambition
  • Adept at rapidly understanding business needs and crafting solutions
  • A confident communicator and presenter who uses data to support their perspectives
  • Able to articulate challenges and problems and then move swiftly to problem solving
  • A culture fit; you are professional, passionate, collaborative and hungry to learn
  • A driver of change and someone who breaks down barriers
  • Excited by ambitious targets and energised by rising to challenges
  • Able to move fast individually, but understand that building good foundations can help everyone move faster and are essential to scale
  • Experience with analytics, reporting, competitive insights and sales CRM tools
