You will report directly to the Director of Financial Operations, based in the San Francisco HQ office. The Global Procurement Operations Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for developing and driving global procurement operations, systems, and strategies to optimize costs, simplify and automate the buying experience, and drive value across the global organization.
At Ripple, Procurement isn't just about spend—it’s about fueling fast, secure, and responsible growth. We are looking for a strategic Senior Procurement Operations Manager to architect the systems that power our global team. You won't just manage processes; you’ll build a scalable Source-to-Pay (S2P) engine, leverage cutting-edge tech, and ensure our people have the right tools to do their best work at speed.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Architect and deploy the systems and workflows required to support Ripple’s rapid growth. You will diagnose gaps and inefficiencies within the source-to-pay (S2P) lifecycle, engineering high-impact solutions that ensure global consistency, speed, and long-term scalability.
- Drive the evolution of our Source-to-Pay infrastructure. Collaborating with technical and business partners, you will manage and enhance our integrated platforms (e.g., Zip, Oracle, Jira) to eliminate silos, improve user experience, and ensure our systems scale alongside Ripple’s expanding global footprint.
- Partner with cross-functional leadership to align our procurement systems with Ripple’s global scale. You will lead the design and execution of sourcing processes that empower teams to move fast, ensuring we secure high-quality vendor partnerships while maintaining rigorous standards for cost management and operational excellence.
- Accelerate organizational efficiencies by reducing cycle times and leading the seamless rollout of procurement policies and tools. You will own the full change management lifecycle—including comprehensive training, documentation, and communication strategies—to ensure high user adoption and sustained operational success across Ripple’s global offices.
- Harness procurement analytics to provide a clear, real-time view of Ripple’s financial commitments. You will build and manage sophisticated dashboards—tracking spend, compliance, and cycle times—that empower Finance and Sourcing leaders to make high-stakes, data-driven decisions with confidence.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud & Excel is required
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (Degree in Business Administration/Accounting/Finance is preferred)
- Minimum of 8+ years in the field of Procurement and Supplier Management, including 4+ years leading teams, preferably in a high-growth environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex stakeholder groups while rigorously optimizing the vendor and technology landscape. You excel at turning external partnerships into strategic advantages, leveraging them to drive measurable gains in efficiency and ensuring the procurement function scales seamlessly with the business.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Freshervice, Jira, Zip
