This hybrid position will be based in our Boston office Monday- Thursday, with remote flexibility on Fridays.

We are looking for a talented GSOC analyst to join our newly formed Global Corporate Security Team. The GSOC analyst will be responsible for the daily operations of the GSOC and providing support to applicable stakeholders in the event of an incident or crisis.  This individual will be part of a dynamic corporate security team whose mission is to provide world class support to our partners. This person will work on building and expanding the GSOC to 24/7 operations in the future and supporting the Corporate Security Team at Wayfair. This person will report to the GSOC Supervisor. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Perform daily functions of the GSOC by monitoring alarms, access control, CCTV, and key events that may impact Wayfair’s operations and assets, providing periodic and timely reports.
  • Review, analyze, and escalate issues to help mitigate global threats to Wayfair’s employees, property, and partners.
  • Conduct open-source intelligence (OSINT) collection and analysis to support situational awareness, incident response, and threat assessments.
  • Draft and refine briefing documents and situational reports, incorporating feedback to ensure clarity, actionability, and strategic relevance.
  • Evaluate and improve the structure and impact of internal reporting products to align with leadership needs.
  • Dispatch and coordinate responses to incidents or crisis events that occur or could potentially impact Wayfair’s operations.
  • Maintain detailed records of communications and events, including incident tracking and case management.
  • Manage and handle sensitive incidents while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with global partners to identify security risks and develop mitigation strategies.

What You’ll Need

  • 2+ years of experience working in a security function, preferably in an operations or control center setting (either government or private sector).
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment, think through problems, and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Must have the ability to communicate both written and orally with applicable stakeholders and represent Wayfair to external parties such as law enforcement.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong decision-making ability during both crisis and non-crisis situations.
  • Ability to work in a flexible scheduling environment and support 24/7 operation as needed.
