Would you like to revolutionize the fitness and health industry with us? As Head of Events (m/f/d) you are responsible for a team of 6 event managers and report to the VP Marketing & Brand. In this role, you will help bring EGYM's brand experience to life at events, create touchpoints for our sales team with potential customers, and retain existing customers. Sounds exciting?   • You integrate brand strategy and sales objectives into an event strategy designed to support sales generation and new customer acquisition through lead-oriented events
  • You ensure the smooth operational implementation of national and international event formats, such as trade fairs and customer events
  • You are responsible for the channels: trade fairs (e.g., FIBO), events (organizers and participants), global EGYM showrooms, and customer show sites (events with reference customers)
  • Together with the Marketing Operations team, you develop and evaluate success metrics for events
  • You work across projects and programs (e.g. product launches) with a variety of stakeholders across the company
  • You are responsible for budget planning and control of the event budget

Your fitness level

  • You have at least 7 years of professional experience as an event or project manager of trade fairs, events, and meetups in a complex B2B environment and at least 5 years of experience as a team lead
  • You have solid experience in an international environment, and have ideally already transferred event concepts to other markets or implemented international event concepts
  • You have strong leadership skills and build collaborative relationships with stakeholders across multiple departments and functions
  • You like working in a fast-paced and innovative environment and can effectively manage a large number of projects without losing focus
  • You are willing to travel (approx. 20%) to support trade fairs and regional events
  • You speak fluent English; knowledge of German is a plus

Your training goal for your first 6 months

  • You have familiarized yourself with the current event strategy and derived recommendations for further optimization
  • You have developed the event strategy for 2025 in collaboration with the Marketing and Sales teams, which includes event branding, various event formats and a budget proposal
  • You have built a trusting collaboration with your team and important stakeholders (e.g. Country Directors) and understand the essential aspects of leadership at EGYM
  • You have questioned existing processes and actively put forward your suggestions for optimization
