We want to make the world a better place and change people's lives through Monzo.The RoleWe're looking for a Head of Localisation to join our International Expansion team. The role involves laying down our localisation strategy in each country we launch in (starting with Europe). We believe localisation encompasses everything from assets, copy/translation, tone of voice to make our brand Monzo reflected while staying locally and culturally relevant.

This is an exciting first, one-of-a-kind role. You’ll be part of a one person localisation team to begin with, working closely with the business, product and technology, marketing leads to create and drive ideas that will help Monzo win globally. This role is for a leader who is a doer, you see the big picture but are not afraid to get your hands dirty and approach projects in a collaborative manner. You’ll be reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations. Your Responsibilities 

  • Set and deliver on a localisation strategy (tech, product and business) to win in countries we launch in
  • Establish and monitor quality control for localisation
  • Iterate over tools and processes, to adapt to local market needs
  • Collaborate and partner with key stakeholders in product, technology, marketing, to improve the customer experience for each region
  • Managing and engaging with external stakeholders, vendors and partners. example: local post partners

This is for you if:

  • Extensive experience as a localisation manager
  • Experience launching a product in new languages in new markets for a global organisation
  • Experience working with CMS (Content Management Systems),
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management, working with stakeholders across the board - brand, marketing, design, product, engineering

The Interview Process:

Our interview process involves three main stages: 

  • Recruiter Call (30mins)
  • Initial Call (30 mins)
  • x2 final interviews via Google Meet (x2 1hour)

Our average process takes around 2-3 weeks but we will always work around your availability.
