Role: Head of Procurement
Location: London, England, United Kingdom (2-3 days a week from our London offices)
About the role:
Reporting The Brandtech Group’s Chief Procurement Officer, this role is responsible for driving a seamless procurement lifecycle through buying goods and services for the IIG / Oliver and our wider group of companies, globally. From proactively identifying needs and developing specifications, to negotiating cost effective contracts, managing key suppliers, and ensuring service delivery exceeds business goals and objectives.
Working closely with The Brandtech CPO, to create and deliver group wide spend synergies and opportunities, the successful candidate will be able to think strategically, can build brilliant stakeholder relationships naturally, and has a genuine passion for spend and contract data analysis.
Key categories of spend in scope will be the management of Technology (including but not limited to software/SaaS/hardware) consultancy services, HR services and various Marketing services.

What you will be doing:- To build, develop and own an opportunity pipeline to deliver short, mid, and long-term value adding initiatives for both IIG and also across the wider group companies.
- Working closely with senior operational leads to create and implement effective procurement strategies that align with the organisation’s overall goals and objectives.
- Proactively leveraging data insights, benchmarks, and metrics to innovate and drive both new and ongoing cost saving opportunities, aligned to business growth ambitions for the group.
- Adapting and championing best practice processes for sourcing products and services across the group.
- Positively influencing our Sustainability and DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) objectives with our suppliers to help drive our goal to be Carbon net zero by 2030.
- Mitigate commercial and reputational risk through robust contract management.
- Working collaboratively with key IIG delivery leads to ensure the sourcing process is clearly communicated, understood, and adhered to effectively.Ensuring strategic alignment between procurement and the wider group strategic objectives.
- Playing a key role in the development of group aligned procurement process, governance and controls and supporting the ongoing development of Procurement technology to enable group wide supplier cost and operational efficiencies
- Significant senior experience in a related procurement role.. Having experience of leading or being a part of building a Procurement function is a strong advantage
- Proven in-depth knowledge of sourcing principles and best practices..
- Experience of IT/Technology spend categories is advantageous.
- Is adaptable and thrives working in a fast paced and positively changing environment.
- A self-starter, with strong leadership and demonstrable experience at being able to influence up to senior executive level.
- Demonstrating excellent negotiation skills, ability to think creatively and outside the box to drive positive outcomes for the business
- A strong understanding of key contractual terms and conditions to help drive efficiencies and mitigate legal risk.
- Being resilient and having a positive and proactive problem-solving mindset is important.
- Analytical and able to interpret data quickly, strong Excel skills are required.
