StudySmarter is Europe’s fastest growing learning platform, supporting students and pupils throughout the entire learning process and aiming to empower everyone to achieve their educational goals. 

Following a strong finish to 2023 where we became profitable and launched our transformational product redesign, we are looking for an experienced product leader to help us execute our current and develop our future product roadmap and achieve ambitious goals in the areas of monetization, AI and growth.

The Head of product will work hand in hand with our co-founder & CPO and lead our talented product team. This is a role which we expect to have a huge impact on our business, but also on millions of learners that we support in their learning journey.

• Partnering with our CPO to develop our product roadmap; and as part of the leadership team alongside CTO and VP Engineering

• Collaborating on product strategy with the CPO

• Leading the product team in building and executing our product roadmap, across strategic pillars and teams

• Collaborating with our VP Engineering to ensure that our product & engineering organisation becomes better and faster in delivering value to our users

• Working hands-on with our product, our users and our analytics data to make informed and user-centric decisions

• Leadership and development of product managers and product designers

• Some management / leadership experience - leading a product team or area

• Experience with consumer apps - learning, habit forming products and subscription based products are a plus

• Strong product management skills & methodology - amongst others around roadmap & prioritisation, product definition and delivery

• Strong design literacy and understanding of areas such as information architecture, content hierarchy, UX, UI and Interaction design

• Significant experience with product analytics, research and continuous discovery
