Our Opportunity:

Chewy is seeking a Human Resource Business Partner to support our Customer Care Team! The ideal candidate understands what customer service really means from an HR perspective. In this role you’ll support one of the largest, fastest growing, and most dynamic teams in e-commerce today.  You’ll be working on everything including: performance management, employee engagement, leadership development, and employee relations matters. Using your business skills combined with HR knowledge you will be able to identify and resolve problems quickly by capturing the facts, analyzing the data, and making a determination. 

 

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with managers to retain, develop, and empower people to achieve their fullest potential
  • Work with leaders to build and implement HR plans and solutions in order to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results
  • Implement/coordinate/interpret corporate policies, programs, procedures
  • Collaborate with line managers and employees to address all types of employee relations issues ensuring balance in representing all parties’ interests
  • Provide management coaching to build leadership capabilities to address and resolve employee issues
  • Review and analyze data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience
  • Partner with business leaders to drive projects and programs to employee engagement, business performance, and employee retention
  • Help guide and implement action plans from employee feedback surveys
  • Keep things simple, wow the customer, and grow the business!

 

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 5+ years of HR, or relevant business experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including high quality document and report preparation
  • Demonstrable ability to mentor managers and supervisors to use company standard processes for maximum effectiveness
  • Strong business insight, including significant problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative
  • Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results
  • Position may require travel

 

Compensation & Benefits:

Our salary range for a Human Resources Business Partner position is $95,500.00 - $152,500.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k, and a new hire and annual equity grant.
